I noticed about a week ago that every few days I would receive an email from Facebook and in the subject line it would be "(some friend of mine's name) asked you a question" ... at first I thought it odd but since I was busy and there was only one, I let it go. Within a few days, I noticed these things coming in almost daily. It wasn't until today that I took the time to investigate, thus this posting.

Turns out that there is a whole new feature on Facebook callled "Questions" ... it seems to be a very good idea that could become very interesting. It's not the "Questions" feature that I have an issue with - it's the fact that the default setting is to send you an email message every time anything relating to "Questions" happens. For those of you that have either been coached by me or have taken one of my online courses you already know, for those that haven't - here it is. To keep your email account neat and tidy as well as to keep your Facebook activity under control (no time wasting junk) I HIGHLY recommend turning off as many, if not all, of the email notifications from Facebook. This goes for your personal profile as well as your business page, with a few exceptions of course. Even if you intend to just grow your "likes" also known as "fans" on your business page, your personal profile will grow too - its inevitable. Thus, as your circle of influence grows, so will the number of people doing things that would trigger an email in your inbox.

This one is an easy one to fix: Simply go to your "Account Settings", then to "Notifications". Halfway down the page you'll find the "Questions" section ... uncheck all of the boxes that magically checked themselves. Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "Save Changes" - Problem Solved!

Until next time, Peace, happiness, laughter and love!
Have you noticed that you are only seeing updates in your newsfeed from the same people lately? Have you also noticed that when you post things like status messages, photos and links, the same circle of people are commenting and you are not hearing from anyone else?

The problem is that a large chunk of your contact list can't see anything you post and here's why:

The "New Facebook" has a newsfeed setting that by default is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people you've recently interacted with or have interacted the most with (which would be limited to the couple of weeks just before people started switching to the "new profile"). So, in other words, for both business and personal pages, unless you or your friends/fans commented on one another's posts within those couple of weeks - you are now invisible to them and they are invisible to you!!

***HERE'S THE FIX:
On your homepage, click the "Most Recent" title on the right of the Newsfeed, then click on the drop down arrow beside it, and select "Edit Options." Click on "Show Posts From" and change the setting to "All Of Your Friends and Pages." (You can also access the "Edit Options" link at the very bottom of the Facebook homepage on the right.)

Note: Business pages do not have a newsfeed. Owners of business pages should adjust the settings on their personal accounts.

The good news is:
You can now view ALL of your friends and fans again!

The bad news is:
YOU ARE STILL INVISIBLE to a large portion of your list. If you want to re-establish contact, you will need to get the word out to ALL of your contacts
Anita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-7073326398154212712011-04-10T11:48:00.000-07:002011-04-10T11:48:42.183-07:00Facebook has moved to IFrames from FBML
Facebook has begun the move to IFrames from FBML. Why would you as a non technical business owner care? Quite simply, it's because Business Pages (previously known as "fan" or "like" pages) are SO important to the communication between your business and your niche market. Facebook Pages (as opposed to Personal Profiles) are the means that businesses, political organizations, social / religious movements .... whatever entity is attempting to communicate with the masses. Personal profiles are what each person has that is on Facebook. They are NOT the same thing. Personal profiles have very strict limits such as the 5,000 friend limit ... Pages do not. When someone visits a Page they can see all of the important postings that are on there as well as the comments/discussions ... they cannot post on the page or receive updates from the page in their news feed until they click the "like" button at the top of the page. The Like button is only visible until it is clicked, then it disappears.

Market studies have shown that the vast majority of people visiting a page won't click on the "like" button. Yet, for pages that have a "Welcome" tab the chances a visitor will click "like" increase by 71%! Now that is valuable information - here's why. You want to be like "E F Hutton" when you speak - you want others to listen, thus the more people that have "liked" your page the more people that can hear when you speak. When on Facebook, speaking is done when you post on the page. Make sense? So back to our original point ... why does a business owner care about the switch from FBML to IFrame?

Welcome tabs were previously written in FBML the computer language that Facebook used for developers. With the big switch comes changes such as no new Welcome tabs in FBML and those that are in FBML will have limited ability to make changes on what is currently there. For companies with large marketing budgets and/or in-house tech gurus - no big deal. For small business owners that were doing it themselves or outsourced the task using precious resources ... it's challenge time! Well, the good news here is that there will be several months of phasing out the editing and support that Facebook will provide for FBML. Necessity is the mother of invention, As has been the trend thus far in both Facebook and Twitter there are so many brilliant techy businesses that will immediately jump to provide for the millions of users on either of these platforms. IFrame applications are popping up already!

Here's our tip: On Facebook, be sure that you have a "Page" for your business or organization. DON'T try to use a profile using the business or organization's name ... it not only looks amateur and tacky, but also very unprofessional. Not to mention the reach of your activity is SERIOUSLY limited. All in all - not a good idea. If you already have a Facebook page, get a welcome tab. Either use IFrames yourself to get that done or hire someone that will use IFrames. If you already have a welcome tab and don't need to make any changes for awhile - you are fine. If you have a welcome tab and it needs changes - consider switching now to Iframes and save yourself the headache later!

Until next week ... peace, harmony, laughter and love!
Anita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-44139760950347527402010-08-24T17:08:00.000-07:002010-08-24T17:09:33.892-07:00Living a life by designEver feel that you are working as hard as you can but the same issues pop up over and over? Ever feel that there must be something more for you? Ever feel the urge to take charge of your own life, yet feel overwhelmed with the process? Well, you are not alone and yes, there is help. Specifically designed for people that either are starting a small business, a home based business or have already got one going and need to get to the next level, this easy process will help you get to where you want to go.

A few years ago, I attended a seminar and heard a concept that was completely foreign to me. The presenter, a very credible and trusted mentor to tens of thousands, informed the audience that he was going to teach us how to design life as we would want to live it. Design our life, from where each of us was at that point in time, in the middle of the largest economic downturns of our time. I dutifully took good notes and began to ponder the possibilities. Is it really possible? Well, a year later, let me tell you a secret - yes, it is possible. And it is easier than you might think. Did it take effort - yes, but not as much as I thought it would. Did it take personal growth - you bet it did, but it is a pleasant experience. Did it take courage and facing down some fears - yep, it sure did! Was it worth it - Without a doubt, YES!

I am now working from home, with plenty of time to get things done AND spend great time with my family. I feel less frazzled than I have in years and I'm not chasing the next deadline or call or meeting. The amazing thing is that once I began the journey, people, opportunity, books, coincidences showed up all around me. I don't want to make it seem like one day everything just magically showed up. It did take effort and drive and determination on my part. With that said, I really didn't feel stressed about it all, the work didn't feel like a burden, it was fun. How can that be? I was following my natural inclinations, my passions, putting it out there with a healthy mix of confidence and humility and the path opened up in front of me. The best part is that I have recorded the journey thus far and feel a pull to share it with anyone that wants it. My clients actually presented me with this opportunity with the questions that I hear over and over. Can you coach me to do the same thing in my life? The answer is yes.
The Easy Lifestyle can be a reality for you. The real question is, are you ready for it?Anita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-74298904033389554652010-06-01T13:29:00.000-07:002010-06-01T13:29:20.148-07:00A Healthy Lifestyle is an Easy Lifestyle
New Solutions to Old Problems: An Interview with the Producers of Food Matters
Sometimes I feel that it would be infinitely easier to pretend that our world’s healthcare problems do not exist. It would be bliss to trust that our food industry operates with the public’s best interests at heart and that the FDA and the pharmaceutical industry are committed to human health. I suspect however that you already realize that this is currently a fairy tale dream. Or perhaps you’re like many others and understandably feel confronted by criticism of these paradigms. Whatever the case may be, James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch have learnt the hard way.

In 2003, James’ father experienced a severe health crisis. After decades of working in stressful conditions and consuming a typical western diet, Roy Colquhoun’s body completely shut down. Bedridden for months with depression, chronic fatigue, anxiety and severe flu-like symptoms, Roy sought the best medical care available. Psychiatrists and medical specialists recommended a myriad of drugs that did nothing to alleviate Roy’s physical ailments and, Roy asserts, actually worsened his mental condition.

“My life was a psychotic daze and spiraling downward out of control,” Roy recalls. “Ultimately, this lead to my psychiatrist admitting me to a specialist psychiatric hospital for a period of thirty days. This hospitalization did not help and all that was achieved was a change in the ingredients of my cocktail of prescription medication... Feelings of hopelessness started to predominate my life. Suicide was becoming a frightening and very real option.”

As a professional businessman with obstinate faith in conventional practices, Roy was initially very unreceptive when James and Laurentine encouraged him to read about the natural health methods they were learning about. Roy explains his attitude at the time was, “If the best of the medical profession could not help me, how could my son and daughter-in-law with their nutrition and vitamin-based approach help?”

James and Laurentine understood that it would take powerful measures to shock Roy into kicking his dangerous pharmaceutical drug habit. After realizing that he wasn’t reading the books that they sent him, the duo set off around the world interviewing experienced doctors, researchers, naturopaths and journalists. Their reasoning was that if Roy wouldn’t read the books then maybe he would listen to these experts on DVD.

“They arrived on my doorstep and I was told they were not leaving until I recovered,” Roy remembers. Seeing the filmed footage of all these experts clearly had its desired effect. “After five years on heavy doses of anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, anxiety medication and sleeping tablets, I started taking therapeutic doses of vitamins and minerals and within a week had withdrawn from all prescription medication.” Also, with some not-so-gentle persuasion according to Roy, “I was ordered onto a ten day detox, eating only raw food and no alcohol and continuing on a special cleansing diet thereafter.”

The results? Nothing short of spectacular. Roy suffered none of the serious drug withdrawal side-effects cautioned by the medical profession. Today, he is disease-free, drug-free, twenty kilograms lighter, running twice a week and enjoying a happy retirement. Roy’s return to health was incredibly inspiring evidence of the power of nutritional therapy. “What we learned throughout this journey was so astounding that we wanted to share it with others, and so Food Matters the documentary was born,” James explains with his characteristic passion.

The beauty of Food Matters is that its message has ubiquitous relevance - not only to those who are as sick as James’s father was but also to those looking to prevent illness in their lives but who seem to have become bewildered by the often contradicting health information available to them. With raw honesty, Food Matters cuts through this confusion to reveal how a poor diet coupled with a pill-popping dependency serves the longevity of big business - but not you. In the words of featured nutritional therapy expert Dr. Andrew Saul, “Good health makes a lot of sense, but it doesn’t make a lot of dollars”.

“We’re not suggesting that pharmaceutical drugs don’t have their place, we’re suggesting that our overburdened healthcare practitioners perhaps do not have the time to educate people about nutrition and healthy living,” James points out. “Food Matters was created to help fill that void”.

Experts such as Charlotte Gerson explain that the human body is self-curative when it functions in good health. She is adamant that “a normal healthy body can not and will not develop cancer or any other illness for that matter”. Conversely, when our innate healing systems become damaged by an un-natural diet and a toxic environment, disease manifests. Whilst drugs have their place in medical emergencies, chronic use merely masks the symptoms of disease and impedes profound healing.

The journey to good health can sometimes feel too overwhelming to start. Part of the magic of Food Matters is that it is an entertaining and solution-oriented springboard for taking your first step toward feeling good. Food Matters does not involve hours of lecturing scientists or extremist New Age diet ideas. It’s just eighty minutes of powerful common-sense, practical solutions to our current health crisis.

It is very seductive to pretend that our current healthcare problems do not exist. What I’m beginning to realize is that I may never be able to change the way people eat but I can do my very best today to make choices that serve my body and our planet. Food Matters delivers the message that only you are capable of transcending the madness of our current ‘sickcare industry’ and reclaiming the vibrant health that is rightfully yours.
For the past two decades, Susan has been a force to reckon with in the network marketing industry. She and her husband of 38 years Gary have lived a dream life with their children and grandchildren. Although her story is a happy one, Susan had to overcome several challenges to be the successful businesswoman she is today.

Susan always had a great work ethic, which was instilled in her by her father. Her hard work paid off when she reached a six-figure income at her hair salon. Unfortunately, she created her own personal prison in the process. Susan felt trapped in her position and had no exit plan. She worked over 80 hours a week. She raised two amazing sons and “watched them grow up through a video camera.” Susan’s life was spinning out of control, and she desperately needed a change.

The change happened when Susan’s son proudly announced his acceptance into medical school. Susan was genuinely thrilled, but her heart sank at the same time. She was not prepared to shell out another $5,000 a month. After that moment, Susan was open to any possibility that came along.

Oddly enough, no one had ever presented a network marketing opportunity to Susan. She knew nothing about the concept. One day a customer introduced Susan to the product side of network marketing. He told her she could buy products at wholesale prices and sell them in her salon for retail. She was interested from the start. “I could literally sell in my salon and bring in a bit more income without lots more effort,” she says. She was hooked. To complete the company’s paperwork, she had to drive hundreds of miles but that did not stop her. Susan dived in and earned an extra $5,000 a month within a short time.

Susan Decided to Succeed
One day, Susan received an unexpected call from an anonymous man. He asked how long she had been involved in network marketing and how she was progressing. “I’m buying wholesale and selling retail. I guess everything is going okay,” she responded.

Several days later, the man visited her and shared his story. He opened the door to endless possibilities by teaching Susan about the business side of network marketing and how she could receive a percentage of what other people earned as well. Susan inquisitively said, “You mean I can get a percentage of what other people earn, too? How is that possible?” He said, “If you will be coachable and teachable and follow my lead, I’ll take you where you want to go.”

In all her years with the salon no one had ever offered to help her do anything must less make significant income and change her life at the same time. Without batting an eye, Susan took a chance and accepted him as a mentor. She told him, “I know nothing about this industry! What I bring is a tremendous work ethic and a PhD in People. If you can do something with that, I will be teachable. Mold Me!”

The man immediately put Susan on a personal growth path. When Susan complained that she didn’t have time to read or to work on herself, he taught her how to reshape her life. “Your income growth will never exceed your personal growth,” he informed her. Susan went on a mission to improve and became “hungry for knowledge.” Every day was a new journey for her.

The doors to success did not fling open immediately. Susan made multiple mistakes and frequently called her mentor for help. She did what most new comers do, begged people to join in her business. “I had been like a water hose, hosing them down and drowing them with my products and company. My mentor helped me see It’s not about what I want, it’s about what THEY want. People buy benefits, not products..” Susan says. Still, her willingness to request help enabled her to learn and grow. She kept a positive attitude and reaffirmed her commitment over and over again.

Susan’s Ingredients for Success
Susan’s breaks down her business philosophy into the following eight steps:

1. Discover the WHY
To figure out whether or not you are capable of helping someone, learn WHY they want to join the business. A person’s WHY is their key to success or failure.

2. Be Prepared to Hear No
Susan understands that “no’s” come fast and in all shapes and sizes. The best way to handle a “no” is to bring the person’s attention back to their WHY. Their HOW does not matter.

3. Build a Business Plan
To build a successful business plan, cater each plan to the individual’s needs. Consider the number of hours they are willing to work, their commitment level, and the financial investment they are willing to make. Overall, the business plan should match the person’s WHY. “If you treat this like a business, it will pay you like a business,” Susan says. “If you treat this like a hobby, it is going to cost you money.”

4. Build Belief
Many people enter network marketing with a traditional business mindset. They expect to be told what to do in order to earn a salary. Furthermore, people expect immediate results. “I believe that if you help someone build their three-day story within their first 72 hours, you will help them build belief much quicker,” Susan advises.

5. Move to Action
“Where there is no action, there is no friction. Where there is no friction, there are no results,” Susan says. Show people how to jump-start their business by inspiring action.

6. Get Testimonies
Whenever a new person joins our business, Susan asks them to name people whom they respect. Those ‘difference makers’ in the community can inspire people to change. Whether those respected people are doctors or teachers, each new person needs to model themselves after someone of influence.

7. Follow a Path of Exposure
Immediately go to private businesses, chamber events, and a variety of meetings. Start enrolling people as soon as possible, because momentum is critical in network marketing. Try to sponsor 12 people in the first month, not in the first 12 months.

8. Plug into a System
Each new consultant should follow the company’s system. The step-by-step path repeatedly shows new people how to develop and grow.

Susan’s WHY
Susan has added to her WHY over the years and has stretched her vision in doing so. “If your why is not constantly growing, how can you lead others? If your vision is not bigger than mine, you cannot lead me,” she maintains. Susan is constantly realizing the limitless possibilities in network marketing.

Susan’s Legacy
Susan wants to be recognized as a loving wife and mother. Her most important goal is to keep her husband happy and smiling. Plus she strives to inspire her children, Susan leads by example. In doing so, she has established a supportive environment and has taught her children to make excellent decisions.

Susan’s legacy will also be as a business woman who makes a difference in the world. As a woman who spreads kindness to others, she knows how to pays it forward: “I want to be a pioneer of this new journey.” People all over the world have learned to enjoy life and to recognize their own self worth because of Susan’s influence.

www.SusanWalshOnTheMove.com
www.Twitter.com/SBWalsh
www.Facebook.com/SusanWalshAnita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-31289401898773861962009-05-28T11:35:00.000-07:002009-08-13T07:14:19.946-07:00Mentoring Leaders to Millions-MLMHow often have we heard the saying, "To have what they have, you must know what they know and do what they do."? Since first hearing this old cliche' I have asked myself - and how do we get them to teach us their secrets?!

That is where mentoring comes into the picture. I had alway thought of mentoring as what grown up did to "give" back to underpriviledged children - like "Big Brothers, Big Sisters". I never realized that mentoring is when someone that has hit a certain acheivement level reaches out to others that want to follow in their footsteps. That it is an honor to be both mentor and mentored. Thank god that I finally was shown the truth - it changed my life and that of the rest of my family!

I was lucky enough to get to know an amazing, self-made success story of a woman, Susan Walsh. She has been my mentor for over 2 years, I could not imagine not having her in my life. Her personal mentor is none other than Brad C Hager. I have been mentored by the best of the best.

Brad & Marcia Hager teamed up with Susan & Gary Walsh and a few other strong leaders several years ago and created The Hager Marketing Group. What this group of self made multi-millionaires has accomplished in a very short time is amazing. Let's take a minute to introduce them.

Brad & Marcia have over 37 years combined experience and have earned over $20 million in the network marketing industry. They have trained and helped 10 people become millionaires and/or multi millionaires, and have collectively built downline organizations of over 350,000 people with sales of over a billion dollars.

Brad as the Master Distributor and Director of Field Development, built a nutritional company to $100 million a year with 65,000 distributors within two years, in the late 90s.

Marcia owned her own network marketing for 11 years, where she served as Vice President and was instrumental in growing the company to over 125,000 distributors prior to selling it in the mid 90s.

Brad & Marcia entered CyberWize in May of 2001, where they quickly became the top distributors earning over $150,000 monthly. They built an organization of over 170,000 distributors, which produced hundreds of millions in sales. Brad & Marcia earned over $10 million dollars in personal commissions during the 8 yrs they were there. Ten of their leaders earned over a million dollars, while several earned between two and five million dollars each under their leadership. Mr. Tracy’s wisdom and knowledge definitely can stand the test of time and I wanted to review some of his principles in attaining the easy lifestyle.

In one part of the recorded seminar, “Success Master Academy” Mr Tracy discusses the 21 Qualities of Self- Made Millionaires. (all of these, by the way, are learnable by almost anyone)

Here is a summary:

1. Dream Big Dreams: an exercise that helps with this that is done by the most successful people is to develop “back from the future” thinking. See yourself as living your easy lifestyle with all of the details. Then from that point look back to your present situation and determine what it took to get you there.
Create a Dream List: Write a list of the details of your Easy Lifestyle and fantasize as if there were no limitations – anything is possible. Then decide which ones are the closest to being accomplished, which ones are the most exciting and motivate you and which ones can wait.

2. Do what you love to do. This can be harder than it looks at first glance. Decide what you love to do; then find a way to make money doing it.

3. Commit to Excellence in what you do: determine that you will be in the top 10% of what you do. Take steps every day to improve - do more, learn more.

4. Develop Your Unique Talents & Abilities, we all have them. Examine the things that you have had the most success at and figure out what they have in common. What would you choose to do if you didn’t need the money?

5. Accept 100% Responsibility for your future. Develop a high sense of self reliance; an attitude of “if it’s to be, it’s up to me” Use the reality test method: has anyone ever had it tougher than you and succeeded? It takes away all of your excuses. 80% of the reasons we don’t succeed are within ourselves.

6. Develop a clear sense of direction. Determine your major definite purpose in life. Then determine what it will take to do it and be willing to do them. Good news, once you determine you will do whatever it takes, you usually don’t have to do them all.

7. Refuse to Consider the possibility of failure. There is no chance of success without failure. “Failure is just another way to intelligently begin again. Success lies on the far side of failure” ~ Henry Ford “If you want success faster; you must double your rate of failure” ~ Thos. J. Watson, Jr. (founder of IBM)

8. Dedicate yourself to Lifelong Learning; in a time where skills are constantly becoming obsolete; the essence of success will be the ability to learn new skills.

9. Develop a Workaholic Mentality. 40+ hour work week habits!

10. Get around the right people. Avoid negative people, they will drain your energy and enthusiasm faster than anything. Develop a mastermind group of like minded people.

11. Be Prepared to Climb from Peak to Peak. Life is full of peaks and valleys, be prepared for the valleys, knowing there is a peak coming. Remember, it’s the long haul that counts.

12. Develop Resilience, a Bounce-Back attitude. Resolve in advance that you will bounce back and not break in the face of adversity. Know it’s okay to feel stunned after strong adversity, rebound quickly and NEVER give up. Use these times to make course adjustments.

13. Unlock your inborn Creativity. What stops us from being the creative geniuses that we are capable of is our own self limiting beliefs. Practice Mindstorming, that means write a goal in the form of a question on the top of a piece of paper. Then, quickly, write 20 answers to that question. Here’s the key – put it into action immediately!

14. Become an Unshakable optimist! This is done through positive self talk, affirmations & creating a habit of positive self explanations of life and things around you.

15. Dedicate yourself to a life of serving others. Develop a reputation for going the extra mile and doing more than expected.

16. Develop a reputation for speed and dependability. Use a do it now, give me more work style.

17. Be impeccably honest with yourself and others

18. Concentrate singlemindedly on 1 thing at a time. Get in the habit of considering the consequences for doing or not doing something. Then do it single handedly – stay with it until the task is complete.

19. Be decisive. Most often in life, any decision is better than no decision. Take time to think, plan and then decide on the really big things. Once you have made a decision, be willing to accept feedback, re-evaluate and self correct. Flexibility is key

20. Do everything with Courage (the ability to launch w/no guarantee of success) and Persistence (the ability to endevour in the face of adversity)

21. Resolve to practice self- discipline.

I know that most of us have heard these principles many times. The difference between those that are achieving their goals and living the easy lifestyle and those not is practicing all of these principles regularly.

Here’s a challenge, write each of these down and put them into practice daily for the next 21 days. Then assess the results. I have a feeling you’ll be on the fast track to your Easy Lifestyle!
Next up, a review of the ground breaking series, Success Leaves Clues! Mental health, or mental fitness is just as important in the quest to live the easy lifestyle.
Here’s great quick review of Brian Tracy’s Seven Steps to Mental Fitness:

1. Positive Self Talk: 95% of our emotions come from the subconscious chatter within ourselves.. To develop positive self talk we must control our inner dialogue with Affirmations. To be affective, affirmations need to be (a) Personal, “I”; (b) Present tense, as if already exists; (c) positive, always state what you want.

2. Positive Visualization (mental pictures); imaging things to be the way that you want them to be as if they are currently in existence will trigger your reticular activating system (the reticular cortex of the brain) . Practice constructive thinking and feed your mind regularly with these pictures, especially at night and then let your subconscious go to work for you while you sleep.

3. Positive Mental Food: This is a deliberate activity of feeding your mind positive, uplifting books, CDs, programs etc. Constantly ask yourself before watching, listening or reading something, “ How will this help me?”

4. Positive People. Humans tend to have “the chameleon response”, this means we take on the characteristics of those we spend most time with. So put yourself around positive people and avoid negative people. Who do you consider yourself most like? Get around those that you want to be most like.

5. Postive Training and Development: a study of wealthy people showed that they all have many books and programs in their homes on personal development. Do you think they bought these after they became wealthy or used them to get wealthy? Commit to reading something positive or in your field at least 60 minutes every day. Turn your car into a learning environment, use drive time to develop yourself.

6. Postive Health Habits: Energy + Dynamism = Magnetism. Get plenty of good food, clean water, exercise & sleep.

7. Positive Action: all of the above won’t do any good unless you take ACTION. The faster the action the better you feel. A sense of urgency works like a magnet to opportunities.

21 days makes a Habit! Make a checklist of these and set a goal to practice each one for the next 21 days! Enjoy your success along the way!
Anita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-31257609459791563962009-03-28T17:28:00.000-07:002009-03-28T17:29:46.320-07:00The Hager Marketing Group SystemGuest Review of Home Based Business - The Hager Marketing Group
The Hager Marketing Group, a home based business opportunityIn this The Hager Marketing Group home based business review, I would like to cover the very basics of the company, and help you make an informed decision on whether it is a good fit for your current revenue goals, and most importantly to answer the question," is The Hager Marketing Group a ligitament business or is it ‘hype”?The company was started in 1998 in Sarasota, Florida and is 10 years old. It seems that on average 7,500 new home-based ventures start each day. That is definitely a trend! To find out more about what people see in this type of business, we decided to interview some of these average Americans that attribute a home based business to how they can afford to live The Easy Lifestyle!Recently, Chris Parrish took time out of his leisurely day to talk to us about his home based business. He and his wife, Kelli, have owned and operated a very successful Real Estate business for several years. Chris explains that he and Kelli realized that while at the time the Real Estate market was going well, it was still a good idea to explore business opportunities in another area of the economy to provide additional streams of income. That is when he heard of a company, The Hager Marketing Group. The Hager Marketing Group is a 10 year old financially solid company based in Sarasota Florida. He saw something in The Hager Marketing Group that made sense to him - true residual income. The Hager Marketing Group is in the lucrative health and wellness sector of the economy, thus providing potential income that is independent of the Real Estate market. This is what he had wanted, so he looked further into the The Hager Marketing Group compensation plan, its training /support system and finally the leadership in The Hager Marketing Group at both the corporate level and in the field. “Once those pieces were revealed to us,” Chris explains, “we knew that this is what we had been searching for to add to our existing income streams. From that point on we decided that we were going to take it on strong. What makes this such an incredible opportunity for ordinary people (whether they are business owners or employees) is that The Hager Marketing Group offers the distributor a proven system to obtain both financial & time control. “ The Parrishes now enjoy residual income from the 2 sales teams that they and their upline partners have built. Chris laughs at his good fortune, “other people that had Real Estate income as their only source have been in a very uncomfortable position for quite awhile. We regularly share with them the benefits of “not having all your eggs in one basket”. While other people have to cut back on life’s little pleasures and spend more time working, the Parrishes enjoy unlimited quality time with their children, enjoy private time with each other, and together pursue their passion to help others through bible study outreach programs as well as regularly (and generously) helping groups like SisterCare. “Positioning ourselves for success keeps us in a place where we can help others and enjoy for ourselves the easy lifestyle.”Learn more about Chris Parrish at www.ChrisandKelli.com & www.StayHealthy365.comAnita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8925954705377487750.post-78390355688568198372009-02-23T20:37:00.000-08:002009-02-23T21:14:33.374-08:00Is it possible for anyone to live the easy lifestyle? Is it possible for anyone to live "The Easy Lifestyle"?

Whether they admit it or not, most people ask themselves this question. Most think that to live well you must have been born to money, or position. Well that is just not the fact. The examples of those that have been "self made" abound. Even a brief reveiw of the lives of some of these people will reveal some very interesting facts. The way to "Success" however you choose to define it, does have a pattern. And what it takes to make it to your self defined pinnacle may surprise you.

One thing that is almost universally believed by those that have acheived and continue to acheive success, is that first you must have a vision of what it is that you want. That is tougher than it looks at first. It is amazing just how we keep ourselves back and rob ourselves by putting away our dreams and settling for what is "reasonable". Having a dream is the first step. It doesn't matter what that dream is, just that you have it. You can see it clearly. It puts a fire in your belly, you get excited when you think about it. It is specific. For most of us, we have locked up our dreams and buried them away so well that it takes some digging to find them. Well, the best advice anyone can receive is - go find them. "Without a vision a man shall perish" Surround yourself with pictures, books, magazines, movies, people that will help you uncover what is your hearts desire.

One of my mentors, Bradley C. Hager, taught me that you will be the same 5 years from now except for the books you read, the people with whom you associate and what you watch and listen to...let me ask you, what is surrounding you? My dear personal friend, mentor and life coach, Susan Walsh teaches that your vision of what is possible must always be stretched for it to grow. Then she will quickly remind you that it is impossible to stretch your own vision.

So what is the average person to do? Most don't really understand what a mentor is or how to create a vision for their perfect lifestyle. That is what we intend to uncover together. In later posts we will explore the road that others have traveled to enjoy their own "Easy Lifestyle".

Until next time always remember - Life is a Journey and The Journey is the Reward!Anita Fiourishttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00756844184660966160noreply@blogger.com
